SilverCare · Live in service
Finding care should take one search, not ten phone calls
Sourced from the long-term care institution data published by Korea's National Health Insurance Service, SilverCare verifies every address and coordinate and publishes information on some 30,000 care providers nationwide — where families looking for a facility and care workers looking for a job meet in one place.

Data principles
The principles SilverCare publishes about its own data
When care provider data is wrong, somebody makes a wasted trip. SilverCare publishes the rules it follows for handling that data — and operates by them.
Public data is the source
A single source: the NHIS public API for long-term care institutions. No lists of unclear provenance are mixed in, and no numbers are invented.
Addresses and coordinates verified end to end
Locations are fixed with the road-name address coordinate API, falling back to the legal district code master when that fails. Coordinates that fall outside their administrative district are corrected.
Closed facilities come down
Providers that have shut down are removed from the listings. Conversely, information a facility has corrected itself is preserved rather than overwritten on the next collection run.
Advertising does not reorder search results
Revenue comes from advertising and partnerships — but ad spend does not change the order of search results.
Scale

The breakdown by service type. Home-visit care alone accounts for more than half, followed by residential facilities and day care.

Data pipeline
From public data to information people can act on
The product is not a copy of a public API. The four stages that close the gaps in that data are what the service actually is.
01
Collect
Provider records are pulled from the NHIS public API for long-term care institutions.
02
Fix location
Coordinates are resolved with the road-name address API, falling back to the legal district code master where that fails.
03
Verify
Coordinates that fall outside their administrative district are corrected, and closed providers are cleared from the listings.
04
Watch
A monitoring script checks whether the external API's response format has changed, guarding the pipeline.
