DK Group · KDY Sound Lab
Royalty-free sound for indie and commercial projects. Music ships as both LOOP and FULL versions; sound effects start and end at exactly zero, so nothing clicks.
Produced and distributed by KDY Sound Lab, the sound label of DK Group.
What's in the catalogue
Bundles and free packs are subsets of the individual and parent packs, so they are not added in. These are unique counts with duplicates removed.
30 tracks per genre. Every track is instrumental and ships as both a LOOP and a FULL version.
Jazz · mystery · crime · visual novel
Muted trumpet, tenor and baritone sax, upright bass, brushed drums. Smoky and rain-slicked, 1940s.
Erhu · guzheng · bamboo flute
Built on Eastern strings and winds. For period wuxia RPGs and ink-wash adventures.
Casual · bouncy · mobile
Light, springy arrangements for puzzle, casual and hyper-casual games.
8-bit · pixel · arcade
8-bit voicing modelled on vintage sound chips. Made for pixel-art games.
Dark ambient · tension · chase
Collapsing low end and dissonant texture. For survival horror and psychological thrillers.
Orchestral · town · battle · boss
A full orchestral music map for a classic RPG, from the first town to the final boss.
Synthwave · neon · hacking
Analogue synths over driven bass. For neon cities and stealth sequences.
Wholesome · farming · calm
Soft acoustic arrangements for farming and life sims, and for café interiors.
A taste of five genres
Three representative tracks from each of five paid packs. Hear the mastering and the loop points before you buy.
Mastered to −16 LUFS / −1 dBTP (the game BGM convention)
Every file synthesized from code. One-shots begin and end at exactly zero so nothing clicks; loops are crossfade-wrapped.
Clicks · hovers · alerts · transitions
24 categories covering menus and HUDs, with enough variants per action that repetition never shows.
Blades · spells · hits · heals
Melee, ranged and magic families kept separate. For action beats that need weight.
8-bit · jumps · coins · power-ups
Vintage arcade board voicing. Keeps the tactile feel of a pixel game intact.
10 takes per surface
Stone, wood, grass, gravel, metal and more, each with ten takes so a walk cycle never sounds looped.
Tension · presence · cries
Stylised creature voices and spatial tension beds. Synthesized, not naturalistic recordings.
Hits · collapse · beds
Impact and destruction families, plus ambience beds to fill a space.
All six packs bundled
The six individual packs bundled as they are. No new material — it just costs less than buying them separately.
A taste of the UI pack
60 sounds drawn from the same 24 categories as the 134-sound UI pack. Drop them in and decide.
Every WAV master peaks at exactly −1.0 dBFS with zero clipped samples
Buy once, use forever, in as many projects as you like. No further fees and no attribution obligation.
In short — use them freely in your projects; do not resell them as sounds.
The two product lines are made differently, and we do not blur that difference.
Every file was synthesized by purpose-written DSP code: oscillators, noise generators, filters, envelopes and algorithmic reverb. No microphone recordings, no third-party samples, no field recordings at any stage. The cover art is drawn by code too.
The fixed random seed for every file is recorded in SFX_INDEX.csv — anyone can regenerate the identical file.
Generated with Suno AI (v5.5) under a paid subscription that grants commercial rights, then selected, edited, arranged, loop-built and mastered by the author.
Each track ships with its generation ID and a verification link in _MASTER_INVENTORY.csv.
Because they are synthesized, the library contains no realistic human voice and no realistic animal recordings. Creature sounds are stylised rather than naturalistic. If your project needs live recordings, check before buying.
Two free packs let you drop the sound into your project first. The full catalogue lives on itch.io.
Pricing and catalogue differ by store. itch.io carries all eight genres and both free packs; Gumroad carries five music genres.
